I took the top picture a couple of weeks ago from a place just north of Pagosa Springs. The springs are about an hour away, mainly along a dirt road to Colorado. There is nothing more restful than a soak under the stars in hundred-degree mineral pools.

Sounds heavenly!!! Especially as it's expected to get down to 25 degrees tonight where I live. O how I wish there was a hot spring nearby!
That is really cool. I went to hot springs in Colorado when I was in middle school. I think it was near Aspen or Vail. It was a lot of fun, but I remember it smelling like eggs. CFSL
