Jicarillas

Jicarillas are little baskets. The term comes from Mexican Spanish and is pronounced "heeck a REE yas."

Dear dear Colleen, you have the most innate goodness in you. This sounds like a remarkable opportunity. As it involves children, teaching, and a void needing filling, there is no doubt you'll love the experience and thrive doing it. And, the community will be graced to have you.

Maybe you can take your young charges up to Albuquerque in October to see the Hot Air balloon festival. I'll meet you there sometime.

Mucho amor y buena suerte, mi amiga.

ACD,

WOW! This is huge news. Can't wait to get over to Willie's on Friday and share the news.
All the best in this new adventure. We'll be watching your blog for all the latest.
Cheers.

Colleen: OMG PC blew me away with the news. I remember the pleasure you got working with underprivileged kids in Roch, many yrs ago. Best of LUCK.
Eyow, would you believe I just re-connected with my ole Maid of Honor from 40 yr. ago, and she lives and teaches jewelry design in Taos. So you may very well get a call that we have arrived in apache territory --if you can stay there long enough (like Spring) Am trying to line up a week long timeshare stay in downtown Santa Fe

C-- After the flight and 3 hr. car ride up the mountain, you arrived in Lumberton. It's been over one week since your arrival. Is it as you imagined? Busy and exhausting at the same time?

Enjoy, enjoy all that you'll experience in Lumberton.

You're in our thoughts and prayers always. pc
